Substance-Free housing is a special interest group that hosts student who will be expected to abstain from alcohol (regardless of age) and other illegal or illicit drug use, or be under the influence of them, when in the community. This expectation extends to visitors and guests of this floor. This limited-size community will review and sign an additional addendum to the Housing contract that will further outline expectations for the residents. This group-living arrangement will serve as a safe-space for students choosing not to participate or be impacted by substances in their immediate community. For students who are wanting support in their recovery journey, they should reach out to the Joan and Tom Skoro Collegiate Recovery Program to explore membership.
